Turn, Turn, Turn

After spending the first three months of her life on her back, Marissa has discovered there is another side to things. What started as an unsure roll to her chest with her head wobbling around, has now become a fairly routine exercise. She holds her head high and smiles when you look her sqaure in the face. She'll stay in this position for several minutes before she gets tired and starts to scream. The screaming is loosely translated into, "please turn me over on my back."

In this particular photo, and most of the time she is on her chest, she reminds me of a turtle. Her head wanders back and forth and her legs flail about, though her body goes nowhere. Marissa's head shape reminds Sheila of a Peanuts character, Lucy I guess. To that I say "good grief."

4-Month Check-Up

Here are my stats: 13.5 lbs., 23.5" long and my head circumference is 16". This picture was taken with my Daddy's new Blackberry Pearl phone. I was showing off during my doctor's visit by rolling from my back to my tummy. Its very easy for me to do this...I would make a very good turtle.
